I'm looking for a summer jacket and this looks pretty comfy. Plus it comes in white. Anyone have any experience with it?

I really wanted a white Vanson jacket, but 600 bux is a lot for a summer-only jacket. The KD price is a lot lower than the MSRP on that page, I had to request it by email though.

 

Do you live in a place where there are lots of bugs during the summer? Those make it hard to keep white leathers clean.

I don't know how useful it would be to have zip-off sleeves, though..but, whatever floats your boat.

There are some bugs in VA, yes.

I don't really give a hoot about removable sleeves, either. It just so happens that this jacket happens to be pretty affordable and available in a less oppressive color than black.

I want a nice Vanson jacket for the winter/fall/spring, but it would get a little much in the summer.

 

Looks nice, check out the A* Ice also for a summer jacket. I don't know if it will vent as well as this one but it looks better.

 

Yeah, it does look a little better. I like the ICON price (~$30 less than A*), but I'm not sure about that funky collar that's on the ICON jacket.

Also, the A* has more armor than the ICON. That's not insignificant.

I found the Ice jacket for a really nice price, but it really doesn't look like it has much perforation at all aside from the armpits.

My JR jacket unzips to reveal some mesh underneath, but I'd really rather have leather protecting me in the summer, when I'm more apt to ride hard.

Anyone have the Ice jacket?

 

im was considering the Pursuit and the SMX air flow. After talking to several people and shops, i decided to get the SMX. Im still waiting on it. Got a killer deal on it though.

Hmm. That would mean $250 for the pursuit jacket, I could definitely swing that if he included a nice deal on the Pursuit gloves too. Thanks Robbie What should I say to him on the phone?

 

tell him robbie from stuntlife sent you and you need a deal on a jacket and gloves. he sold me a leather daytona and a leather motorhead for $525 with no tax. the msrp on the daytona was $400 and he sold it tome for $275 and the motor head was $350 and I got it for $250. also I sold him the vfr so mention that also and he will hook you up
