Just wanted to know what they are like. How good, any distortion, how are they when compared to the VEGA series??

 

Cerwin Vega HED series, very good sub. Low distortion, good gain, and very good power. They are not as powerful as the Vega series but, have better sound quality.
If you want more SPL, get the Vega series.
IF you want better sound quality, get the HEDs.

 

Or spend a little more money and get an Alpine Type R... very accurate sub.
