Default Tein Super Street Question

Sorry for the noob question but I'm trying to even out my car after putting the tein ss in last fall (the car has been in storage all winter)...

My question is if i screw the two things up will it lower the car or raise it? I've been told that if i screw them up that it will raise the car obviously because its moving the spring up... but ive also been told that if i raise it, the spring will compress and then it will be lower... so far I've found that if they are raised the car gets raised.. is that right?

My other problem is that the passenger rear side the spring is as far down as it can go on the strut but the ride height is still higher on the passenger side than on the driver side where the spring is halfway up the strut

Sorry idk if that makes any sense

collar up = ride height up

collar down = ride height down.

yea after playing around with it for like 2 hours i figured that out...

now on the rear the collar is halfway up the strut and its still lower than the passenger side where the collar is on the bottom of the strut... anyone know why that would be?

could be that there is more weight on one side or the other, or the damper is adjusted to soft on one side and/or super stiff on the other

i dont think its a weight issue in the rear because there isnt anything back there... it is in the front because there is more weight on the passenger side from the h22...

is there a way to check the damper settings without playing with it?

not sure on the teins, but I have the same problem with my ground controls. The rear drivers side is lower than the rear passenger side eventhough it is adjusted to a higher setting. Another possible issue might be that the spring rates are not the same. One may be stiffer than the other so it is not compressing the same on both sides. You will not get them exactly even on the collars though, just remember that. This is a good reason to have coilovers, for those that want everything precise you can make it precise with coilovers.
