Default ctr cams in b18c

I'm thinking about upgrading cams. I think I want to use ctr cams and found a deal for both intake and exhaust for 250$. I see people use the itr exhaust and ctr intake, is that a better setup or just cheaper? Also should i upgrade the springs to ctr ones and leave the gsr retainers. Let me know, I really have no idea about this stuff.

a "jdm b18c" could be either the gsr equivalent or the itr equivalent, so it helps to be specific when asking for advice. Further more a ctr exhaust cam IS an itr exhaust cam.

Regardless if you have a GSR or ITR B18c those cams will be better. There is no difference from a ITR to CTR exuast cam just the intake cam is different.

yes...you should get those cams...i am making good power in my gsr with those cams...and yes you have to upgrade the valvetrain...the part numbers for the gsr intake valve springs and the itr exhaust valve springs are the same...the retainers are the same as well...so really all you have to buy is the intake valve springs from an itr
