pulled apart my motor and was inspecting the crank journals. on one of the journals there was a groove around it. took my fingernail and passed over it and could feel the nick on the journal. don't know how deep it is but it is enough to feel the groove. can this be polished out or need to get new crank?

 

might be able to be fixed. but it really depends on the depth of the scar

 

hightly unlikely it can be polished out, but even if it does, are you gonna be able to find a honda bearing thick enough to fill the gap that was machined away?
