i would also like to know a little about these cams from what i have read on this board from some people they really love the BCs for the money i think i want a set of the IV

i think t-bone said he tried them but i'm not sure but me my self i wouldn't get them there for racing only and are not recomended for the street

Tbone tried running them but with his new valve/head job he couldn't tune the cams enough to get the maximum power out of them....he was running into valve clearence issues. IF you run these cams, be prepared to do your homework.

I could only move my gear seperation by +2 on the intake before my valves were at .025 apart... I still made 250 whp with them.. about 5 less then the 4's

Would you have been able to adjust the cams more without the oversized valves? I have almost the same setup as you're running but standard size valves, I've been looking at the 5's for quite some time.
