i had a problem with the dc sports exhaust that is currently on the car and had arranged with Summit Racing to get a full refund. because they no longer were able to get this exhaust. i could not find a comparable exhaust at Summit so i looked elsewhere. it came down to HKS,Apexi, Greddy. i went with the Gt spec and when i went to have it installed we rn into a prolem. the pipe between the resonator and the muffler would not fit.

it had an S shape to it (2 90 degree angles.) the exhaust on the car as well as three other integras i looked at all had 1 90 degree and 2 45 degree angles to it. so i talked to someone at NOPI,who i originaly ordered it from, and someone from APEXi all damn day.

finally after the umpteenth call i was told they would refund it i wanted another one but was not sure if i would end up getting the same damn kit with the wrong pipe. has this hapened to anyone else?
they insisted that because i had an aftermarket header(DC sports which was a direct fit) and hi flow cat(Magnaflow which was also a direct fit) that even a few millimeters longer in length would throw it off. the pipe kept hitting a"support bracket for rear towing assembly"(i Think that is what he said)

this really sucks.so my problem is that i don't know what to get or where to get it. i had my mind set on this and the muffler looked. any suggestions spent 575 on the Apexi. would like to stay n same price range

also i did attempt to search but did not find anyone with a similar problem. if anyone has any pictures underneath their car or can get them for a 1998-2001(supposedly the years this apexi exhaust ws supposed to fit)LS

 

try hks or if not that then thermal r&D they are the best in fitment. Good luck!!!
