Default 94-95 vs. 96-97 springs...

Can someone please tell me why the springs are different for the 94-95 and the 96-97. I know its not because of the V6 because when i search for springs they themselves have different links just for the V6. the 90-93 and the 96-97 share the same springs, i dont get it.

I just need to know what the difference is between the two. Its the same exact car isnt it? Its odd, i dont get it, someone, anyone, please inform. The only thing i can come up with is this...the car was heavier perhaps in one of the two models and so the springs might be wound tighter perhaps?

see, im thinking the same thing but neuspeed, they have different springs for the 94-95, 96-97, and the V6 95-97. I know it sounds dumb but ive checked a lot of others sites and they seem to not have a difference, except for H&R. The other thing i noticed was that strut and shock assemblies are also the same for 90-97. Which basically means that the spring that would fit that assembly is the same.

all the same spring, just listed under three different catagories; because people feel better if they think they are designed specifically for their car instead of universal

i do know there was a SLIGHT change in shock design (at least for the wagon). because people will use the "wrong" year koni yellow shock, and then they can adjust the perch even lower, to get the car lower than they could gettiong the "right" year shcock.....springs should all be the same unless its for the wagon

Well, generally when they use two different part #s its two different parts. I checked neuspeed and they do use two different part #s for 94-95 and 96-97.. Only god (and neuspeed) knows why.. but I wouldnt worry about it if you use 94-95s on a 96-97 ect ..
