Car died and will not start, Need some Ideas!
The car : ’95 GSR, 89,000 miles, only mods are I/H/E
The problem – I was making a right turn into a parking lot and my engine suddenly died and the battery light came on. There were no bad noises, it just died. A minute before that it was working fine and the next it just shut down. However, the CEL does not light up.
So, we towed it back to my house to take a better look. Its getting fuel pressure and spark and the timing belt is fine. There are no thrashed wires and everything appears to be fine except it does not start when you crank it. So next, we tried to determine if the injectors were working properly. Resistance is at 11 ohms and fuel is going through the return line. I think that the injectors are not opening because 1. I don’t hear them clicking, and 2. when we crank it there are no gas fumes at all.
This car has been maintained very well and has never given me any problems, so this is really wierd.
Could my ECU have gone bad all of a sudden or am I overlooking something? Any help or ideas would be welcome.

check the voltage going to the alternator and the voltage going out of it. When that battery light went on, it's telling you the charging system has something wrong with it. I don't know why you are messing with the fuel system when the battery light went on. Also check the voltage at the battery, should have a min of 12 volts. Sounds like the alternator went bad and didn't recharge the battery which the engine drained it.
