Default Hatch release lever

Hey guys,

I own a 99 LS auto teg ..

I only have the gas release lever, but not the hatch release lever! It dosen't seem that I'm missing it either!! is that normal? Cause it sure bugs the hell out of me to turn my car off everytime I want to get something out of my hatch ...

Cheers yo,

It's on the trunk, slide your fingers up where there's a slot between your hatch and the area between your tail lights. There's a vertical lever that you slide to the left to open the hatch. (this only works if the doors are unlocked)

At least that's how it is on my GSR.

When the model year changed to 98, the lever replaced the switch.

My 97 has the switch with the gas cap switch, but if my car was a 98, it'd have the lever.

Don't some type-r's have an electric hatch release?

only your guys' 98-01 integras have no internal hatch release level next to the gas.

94-97 integras have manual hatch release lever, which i prefer.
