One time I read somewhere(Im pretty sure it was a post here) that said that in Japan they have a mandatory engine replacement after 35-40k miles or something like that.. sounds pretty farfetched to me, but It's what I read, and Im just repeating what Ive been told.. if its wrong, im sorry...

It doesnt sound like that bad of a deal.. try to get it all checked out before you buy it though just to make sure its in good mechanical condition.

In Japan, after you have so many mile on your engine, you have to replace or pay a big tax. That just what I heard. Not really any major problems. The guy is getting a new car tomorrow and needs a downpayment.

I'm just glad to be back in a honda. Got rid of my 91 hatch w/ b16 swap and got a 240. 3 weeks later, back to a honda.
