Default Backfiring

Is it normal for a car with 11k miles to backfire? it never used to before i added on a CAI. only when i hold the gas pedal then push down quickly... any ideas?

Take the CAI off and see if it still does it. Your car shouldn't backfire with stock cams and fuel maps.

bump sorry. i just put the intake in yesterday and i never backfired before that only after i put it in.
