Exhaust size question !!! Which muffler to use.
It is for a 84.5 mm bore gsr, stock crank stage 2 cams, cr 13:1 and i am using a header with 2.5 inch collector.
So after the collector i want to set up a 2.5 inch stainles steel exhaust.
No cat, no resonator, no nothing, just piping 2.5 inch all the way to the back and i want to end it with a universele muffler.
I really like tanabe tuner medalion racing style but that comes in 60 mm inlet diameter (too small ) or 80 mm inlet diameter. I am in doubt about the 80 mm is it too big ?? It is the bottom one.

My second option is the ac autotechnic stainless steel uni muffler which has 2.5 inch inlet diameter. But is that a good muffler as wel ?? i mean i don't want a fart can if you know what i mean.

this one is only 300 mm long so i have enough room for it it has to go on an 1991 SiR. And i don't know how long the tanabe is.
So which one should i choose ?????????????

Oh an danother question should i use a resonator in the exhaust or not. And if yes which one should i use i was thinking about VIBRANT.

well..i really don't think it would matter as long as the piping is 2.5
i mean, the exhaust gases will be traveling through an 2.5 in pipe and be released to a 3in (i think that's about 80mm), it'll just have little bit less backpressure towads the end. that's how i see it. anyone else ?
