im trying to get into cars and i wanna get my favorite car, ITR, but i know that car is like $15000, anybody know if i can get one in good shape, for no more than 10Gs?

Before you even try to get an ITR you'll will need to have cash or credit to get the starter's kit which includes but not limited to:

garage
alarm
clubs
shift lock
wheel locks
clutch and pedal locks
GPS
dog
etc...
(if I missed something my fellow HONDA-TECH members, please don't hesitate to pitch in)

After that pray alot, I mean alot. To find an ITR for no more than 10K in good shape. You should reconsider to change the car you aiming or increase the price range that you looking for. (just my 2CENTS)

But ya I think a gun will help too.

 

12k is as close as you will get. Not mint, but beggars can't be choosers

 

For less than $10k, you should look into GSR's or go for a Civic/swap.

 

well, see the thing is that my friend knows a guy up in Georgia and he got my friend a ITR for $6000, w/ 70000 miles, 2001, i think its got bodykit but im not sure, and audio system, thats why i was asking 'cause he got a good deal with that car

 

oh and i forgot to mention, yes it is in good shape...

 

I dont have any of this crap and I have not had a problem. It is wasted $$, IMHO - if someone wants your car they will take it no matter what they have to defeat to get it.

Also - ITR for $10k... it happens, but very rarely and definately not on H-T.

ok, lets say i get a ITR or GSR, or any integra, what would be the first thing i should do to get mor HP that wont stop me from being able to pay insurance, put gas on it and all tha ****...
