CRX Double Din Info JDM vs CDN Si SE
Hey everyone. I remember reading in a post earlier this week that the CDN CRX Si SE Din is the same as the JDM Double Din. I'd like to clear up any misleading info. They are NOT the same... I went out and got a Si SE Din for my SI because I will be going CD top and EQ at the bottom and it is not 1 big piece like the JDM version. The Din is divided in 2 to allow for the Radio/Cassette on top and a CD player on the bottom. I'll post pics later today.
Took enough time but here it goes.

That pic is weird. It looks to be from a crx, but yet the temp controls are from a civic (the non push button style).
I will have a pic soon. From what i have found out so far is that the Canadain SE comes with a DIN and a 1/2, NOT the double DIN size like the jdm model.

Well the pic of the one from the SE is the real deal CDN SE.

I bought it from Honda about 6 weeks ago. It's a Double Din but it's divided in the middle so yes I guess you can call it a Din and 1/2.

these were also an accessory from honda (USDM) which allowed installation of equalizer or cd player. don't bother asking your local honda dealer to order one...there are no more.

Hey Don. Ya, I have two of those Double DIN units (from the SE's). [NOT SELLING THEM, SO DON'T ASK, PEOPLE] The oem CD Player in the SE is a piece of junk. Almost every single one of them I've seen has a CD stuck in it that it won't spit out. However, I'm hangin onto them just in case :D If I can get the CD working, I'm going to reinstall it in my CRX SE once it's restored.
