Braking Noise/Problems
have a 93 Civic Coupe...recently did a 5 lug conversion....and i had a noise coming from the front driver side area...i thought it was the breaks, so i went a head and bought new pads and rotors from acura.....replace them....it was fine for about 10 minutes, and the noise came back.....i then started to get crazy road noise around 60mph-70mph, anything above that or below that i don't hear a thing.....change out new wheel bearings......still got the problem it's getting to the point where i don't know what else to do....my only other thought it could be is the axle? could i be correct?
PS. these two noises, coming from the same place, first is the noise like squealing and the second sounds like bad bearings...

in gear or out of gear? while turning or straight? is the dirt shield bent?
jack the car up with jack stand. grab the tire with both hands move the tire left right see if the tire got any play. if it does. you might need new wheel bearing. or with the car secure on the jack stand have some one start your car and put it in gear (simulate driving), while some one else can check for noises. do this at your own risk
