JDM ITR Header Clean Up.......????

Picked up a JDM ITR header from not so civic , thanks again Kevin......

I know that its not a shiney stainless steel header (ex. Mugen, Spoon, etc.) but is there anything that can be done to clean it up any ? Haven't really tried anything yet.....i'm off from work tom. so just tryin to get some input

I doubt it would work the same due to the fact its not a stainless steel header.

Scotch Bright pads and Simple Green.....It works...You can make that think look new with a lil elbow grease.

You could always just wrap it with some header wrap or powdercoat it if you want.

I'd send it out for coating. Even if you spend the time and effort to improve its appearance, it will eventually return to its current condition or worse. A quality coating will not only protect the header, but will maintain a nice finish as well.

i have always just painted my headers black. a lot of steel wool and some alcohol and a couple cans of matte black 1700 degree paint. works like a charm for me.
