How often do you guys empty your catch can?
I bypassed the black box behind the block and routed it to a catch can, then to the PCV. It fills up pretty fast. As in half a quart every hundred miles or so. How often do you guys empty?

no, blowby is a problem where part of your combustion gases escapes in between the cylinder wall and piston due to bad ring seals set by your rings. you'll ususally get this when your combustion ring (the top ring) is old and doesn't seat properlly. Or if you have a bent rod or something where it's (the rod) is pushing and pulling the piston at and angle fukk'n up your cylinder walls, but that would be worst case senario type ****. like mentioned in the previous post you'd lose compression because of this and your oil will be black as hell, more than usual. sorry for the off topic answer, or if you already knew this...
and no i don't think it would because of the way the block is designed from the cylinder wall down.

Were you actually using (or burning ) that much oil before the catch can addition?
If so, you might consider some internal repair.
