My maintanenece required (sp) light is flashing. What could be wrong?? Could i just need some things adjusted, or could something be really messed up???

 

This has been covered hundred of times. Not to be mean but you should use the search. Anyways I am assuming you have a third gen Integra. If so there is a button that has to be pressed and held underneath the panel that is under the steering column. If you have anykind of manual there should be a diagram of where it is at. (It is kind of hard to explain)

How many miles do you have on the car? What type of driving have you been doing lately? How does your idle sound? Before you just go pushing buttons, describe in detail about your car.

My car has 117,000 miles on it. I drive it pretty hard during the day. Id say i get close to redline at least twice a day. I usually shift at 4000 RPM when acceleration normally. And when crusing i try to keep it a little under or around 3000 RPM. The idle doesnt sound so bad. I get a rattle every once in a while right after the car gets in motion, maybe like around 5mph but i goes away right after i speed up, so ive come to the conclusion that its just the heat sheild.
