Default The last straw !!!!

Ok this is my cars last chance, iv been fighting with my swap for the past 6 months. For some reason when if fix one problem another shows its ugly head and so on and so on. I need to find a good shop in the Atlanta area that knows what there doing. When i tried balanced performance they said it had to be the tps... well I replaced the tps and had it calibrated and the problem is still there so i was charged $160 for no reason. bla bla bla... or is there a HT member around the Duluth area that can help. If not im going to sell my car and some one is going to get great project.

Do not give up, thats the worst thing in the world to do. My CRX is the same way, slowly but surely I am getting it the way I want it.

Don't sell the car! I'm a girL and i did my own swap. Even though it has a code 1 " check engine light " i still drive with it. I'm actually thinking about doing another swap. Right now as of today, I was bondoing my caR! Trust me, I posted my car for sale bunch of times and got good offer, but my mind's telling me don't sell it. So i kept it.!!!! been through what you been through plus even worst.

....i feel the same as her ^^^sometimes. everytime i have it fixed, i can count on something going wrong next week.

I'm getting so tired of spending so much money on a 14 year old car, when i could have just bought a new car and paid it off by now. But i try not to look at it that way. I look at it like this "everytime i replace something, its one step closer to being the origional CRX it was back in 1991" well i'm getting pretty damn close to haveing a "new" CRX from the factory

all of us with 20 year old cars and different motors then original all have had our share of problems. obvsiously something is wrong, your car istn cursed so it will just take some time to figure it out, and you will just have to take it one step at a time. whats your problems?

Mine too. I've had idle problems since I finished my ZC swap. The first two weeks it was perfect, no codes no nothing... Then it started doing the revving thing... Fixed that. A week later it went up to 2500 and stayed... Fixed that. Now it's idling at 200 struggling to stay running. I'm on the edge too but you gotta stick with it. I'm changing the dizzy next just because I have a good one sitting here and we'll see where that gets me. Don't even get me started on my brakes! lol My car must be cursed too.

Post up some of the problems and maybe you'll find someone who's been through the same thing that can help.

What you should do is get a second car and fix everything thats wrong with the ReX and then drive it, thats my plan.

thats what i'm getting close to doing. Just get a rental storage unit and put the CRX in there until i have the $$$ to fix EVERYTHING on her.

Sorry i didn't reply sooner, had a little to much to drink last night and had the worst hang over. anyways the problem is the car is still throwing a code 7. I put a new tps in and its still there plus when you get on the gas its like there's resistance at about 4k till I hit vtec and that's if vtec even clicks in. plus i cant find any bad wiring that would cause the bright light signal and the temp gauge to jump up when i use the left turn signal. all the ground are ok.
