Default Say hi & VSS question

Just wanted to say hi as I'm new to this forum.

I recently bought two mostly stock CRX SI's, one '89 and another one '90. I did some routine maintenance on the '89 including the replacement of an axle. I followed the good instruction in the FAQ, but I cannot seem to find the location of the VSS (speed sensor) anywhere on the tranny in order to refill the tranny oil?? I searched both recent/archived topics, it seems no one ever talked about the location of the VSS of d16a6, anyone?

If I do say so myself, the placement of the fill bolt makes for some slight difficulty and a very large, flexible funnel when refilling the tranny. Don't know who thought that one up, but I guess there must have been some good reasoning behind it.

The reason of the filler plug is for not over-filling, I guess???

when it comes out the filler hole that means its full.

fill it on level ground.

the filler plug is actually underneath the starter... that middle one is to check the fluid level

May be I'm just lucky, there's always good people being helpful on cars I own (previously a VW GTI now a CRX.)
