Default Which cams should i get?

I have a first gen B16 thats mostly stock. Skunk2 intake manifold, intake, header, and exhaust. All motor is best in my book, sooo i want some nasty cams to make some serious power. im planning on doing RC 270cc injectors and hondata. I was thinking Skunk2's or RocketMotorsports. Any comparison dyno charts would be great

Go with OBX Cams - same as the SKUNK2 as far as lift/duration - but they cost half the price - Someone told me this and it changed my mind also...but its the truth....everything is the exact same - not sure about the quality, but if you can break a cam, your car is a ticking time bomb...!!! SO i say go OBX....

In a stock block, stock head B16, Rocket does not reccommend the M22's. People underestimate these, they have allot of duration, and a mild compression b16 WILL NOT flow these camshafts. For S2S2's or Blox type b's(same cam) you don't have enough compression to run these. These cams have too much lift for your motor, and they will not pull until around 7k or so. I know it sounds *****, but type r cams are going to be your best bet with your motor as it is now. Yoou won't have to upgrade your valvetrain assuming you're keeping your stock rev limiter. If you're going to do springs/retainers, then opt for the S2S1 and raise your rev limiter a bit more. Even though the S2S1's are the "entry level" cam, I have seen them make very decent power. Good luck man

They are very streetable, but in a B16 you need to have a flowed head, 12.5+ compression and a well suited header to run them properly. They idle extremely nice though

12.5??i dont think u need that much compression. I see guys with 11+ run em and do good numbers. Me my self will be running them on 11.5

In a 1.6 application, the motor needs more mods to support that much duration. In a gsr or ls/vtec you can get away with it a little easier, but in a B16 you really need to do some work to fully maximize the power out of these camshafts.

*edit* Noticed you have a 2 liter B16, WHOA thats bad ***.....you're gonna have a screamin sonuvabitch! My statements go to fairly stock bore blocks

Yep that is true. stock bore/stroke b16s wont do well with bc4s. Yeah 85mm bore with 89 stroke I cant wait to get it runnin here soon.

You should consider looking into the BLOX Racing Tuner Series Type-A Cams. No need to upgrade your current valvetrain. They make useable street power throughout the entire rpm band. Visit http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/66387625.html. Best prices

For stock B16, just throw in a ITR or CTR intake cam. That's the best bang for the buck I know.
