can 17x8 +35 offset wheels fit a 5th gen
will 17x8 +35 offset fit my 96 accord coupe with 2 1/4 drop? Also would I have to roll the fenders to prevent rubing? Whats kind of widths an offsets are you running?
usual offset for wheels on an accord is somewhere between +40 and +45 offset.
96 jdm itr wheels are +38 offset, and require either a 5 mm spacer, or shaving of the caliper in order to fit. but, they're 15 inches, so hitting the fender is not a problem.
a 17 x 8 wheel is pushing the limits of width on an accord, and the low offset will require the use of a spacer.... they will likely hit the fender.
steps of fender alteration:
removing fender well trim
pulling the fenders
rolling the fenders
cutting the fenders.
you may be able to get away with simply pulling the fenders.
fender rolling diy
synopsis: you won't be able to slap the rims on and call it a day... at the minimum you'll need a spacer and removal of the fender well trime... at most, you'll need to pull, roll, and possibly cut your fenders.
