Default intercooler on crx

What size intercoolers are typically used on a crx? I'm in a market for one now, but i wanna do the least amount of trimming and hacking that i can.

I was looking at a spearco 24x3.5x7 intercooler, its a little thick, but do you think it will fit alright?

I searched but couldnt find much solid info, just speculation...

johnny racecar fits perfectly but if you have stock bumpers you have to cut the bumper air dam till it looks 2-dimensional and the foglight pockets if its its a 90-91.

I believe the quality is of JR intercoolers is good, but I am more concerned with fitting.
I just bought an ebay intercooler that will fit inside the frame of the CRX. By that I mean that the charge pipes do not have to route like a cold air intake. I am running the charge pipes inside the engine bay and that makes it a lot easyer to do.
I see the pics of the CRX with the jonnyracer intercooler and I think it is too wide for the CRX. Also the one I bought comes with a 2" and a 2.5" ends so it makes it easyer to connect.
This is the link to that one.
$159 + $20 or so for shipping

This intercooler fits very well and requires minimal trimming. I am running 7psi so it iis plenty good for me. If you plan on running 10+ psi you might want to look somewhere else.

i have the smallest johnny race car ic and you DO have to cut for it to fit. you must cut the bumper plastic out int he front and cut into the bumper support.

heres the jrc classic 6", on my 90 si, i cut my bumper support to properly mount it, but i used to not even use the bumper support, just have to get creative to keep teh bumper from sagging, or us the HF bumper support.

Oh, and i plan on getting the 8 inch now, so the bottom gap fills in a little better.

And resize those pics mang, they take up my entire screen at 1280x1024 resolution. [ img width=400 height=300] your url here [/img ]

I have the 700hp precision frontmount. you just take out the bumper support, then hack the bumper then you take some L-brackets. and they screw right in a screw hole in the front. mine works perfect.
