Which would be an easier install and which supports more modification, for instance turbo/supercharger and other high performance upgrades.

you should really search. i am sure there is a 9 page thread on this already. to be nice thought the short answer is the sohc. the dohc isnt far behind it though. it come down to what you like more. i would go with the sohc but thats me.

 

I always hear that the SOHC is better and easier to find parts for. But the ZC has more torque I hear and all, but yeah there are a lot of threads on this.

 

sohc would be my choice unless it a b series dohc we where talking about..

 

I've owned both & my vote is for teh DOHC ZC w/ an Si tranny
