1986 -1989 accord suspension help
Well I searched for " adjustable " and " accord shocks " but didn't get much info as I expected... I assume they aren't widely used or aren't in existance or I jut search like a newbie..
Anyways I'm looking into some externally adjustable Koni's I know there are people with the basic RED's but I want something externally adjustable.
If any one knows of something I could swap in place of basic 86 89 accord koni's that would be externally adjustable... lets say from a different car like an early teg or civic.
I have some welding skill so I could modify supports and such... but I'm not too suspension minded and I know I'd have to take into account the travel of the shocks and all that.
EDIT: I found something on 3GEEZ about externally adjustable koni reds but it's not in production yet... they are setting up a group buy... It's great and all, but I don't want to wait if I don't have to.

Thanks for your help.

well, it seems that with a little modification, the 4gee accord will swap over, and the 4th gen civic will, too... thing is that they are taller... if you go with something like coilovers, you can get exactly what you want... a bit of lowering and the possibility of adjustable struts...
though, i have signed up for that group buy... probably end up with about 20 guys wanting to buy them, and nobody at all after that... that is unless some guys from over here migrate over...
