It seems that just about everyone who has installed the S2K antenna has done a ghetto job...if they were to play with the antenna or run it through a car wash they'd risk it breaking off. I have found, through lots of searching, a 5mm solution to the problem. Using a 5mm coupler/standoff, your antenna will NOT break off! If someone were to twist it it's secure enough to where the whole thing twists and will not come off unless YOU want it to. Its a snug fit with no worries.
