I want to buy this guy's exhaust... he has a 99 SiR. It's a 2.5 mandrel bent cat-back, fits his car perfect. I want to know if it will fit on the 4-door the same as it fits on the SiR.

Don't flame me or tell me it's a noob question or to search... because these two mechanics at the shop where I'm buying it from told me the bends aren't the same and the hangers are different. I'm pretty sure they're the same, someone confirm if it will fit without modification.

 

it *might* fit.. but usualy a 2dr exhaust is a few inches shorter than the 4dr version. the b pipe should fit ok, but you might have to extend the muffler tip.

 

I roughly measured from the axel to the rear bumper on both cars with a tape measure... it was the same. I also measured from the center of the hub in the rear wheel to the back bumper on both cars, same. Also the wheelbase (hub to hub), it was the same. I think the only difference would be the slight flare at the bottom of the SiR bumper, end even that is insignificant.

Hasn't someone done this before?
