I am wondering if I should be running the rear header mount (the one that attaches to the bracket near the collector) for my JDM ITR 4-1. I have been having a problem with crackin the welds on the exhaust where it is connected to the collector, and I am wondering if this mount would help with that. Plus I just thought it might be better to run it.

So which bracket am I supposed to run on an LS/VTEC EG? And does anyone think that I'm supposed to be using this thing? Thanks.

And yes I am using a flex pipe just after the collector flange...

 

not sure if that mout will help you i think the flex pipe would help

yeah i think having that mount would help, the motor must flex alot under hard driving
