Question about jackknife doors
If anyone here has any practical experience with them, please answer. My wife is interested in putting jackknife doors on our RSX. We don't give a flying crap how it looks, but she has an assigned parking space for work, and her two neighbors, of course, drive road-going battleships. The end result is that she has to squeeze out her door and it's a total pain for her to get her briefcase (and god forbid umbrella) out of the car.
Lambo style doors look like they might be a great solution. Sure, the actual door opening gets smaller, but not as small as when you are trying to get out of a compact sandwiched by a Ford Excursion and a Suburban.
Q1: Will the doors help with this sort of problem?
Q2: My wife is pretty small, can she open/close such doors?
Q3: Will the doors still properly seal etc?
Thanks for answers. I've asked before, but the only people who answered offered such helpful tips as "They look like ****."

Haven't done it yet because no one who actually HAS them has ever answered. We'd hate to spend that kind of money only to find out it doesn't make a difference, or makes things even worse.

One would think so... but my wife is Japanese in the worst way: She will put up will all sorts of inconveniences before actually confronting someone or asking for something that might possibly inconvenience or offend someone
