i have a DC 4-2-1 header on my 1994 LS...and i have 2.25" piping for my exhaust

so, my question is can i get the 2.5" universal carsound cat and have a muffler shop weld on the flanges to fit my header and exhaust piping? is it gonna give me a bottleneck effect if my header outlet is 2.25"... and the cat is 2.5" ....and then into 2.25" piping for my exhaust?

or is there a better hi-flow cat out on the market that i should look into?

just out of curiosity, what size is the outlet of the DC 4-2-1 header for the integra LS?

 

I'd suggest that you contact Dave at SMS Products. He is a Carsound Dealer, welds on flanges, makes an adapter to go into a smaller exhaust when he's not building headers, etc.
