Cam tower seals?
My dad's girlfriend has a 96 Accord LX 4cyl. Her machanic said that her Cam tower seal is leaking. I searched and found some info that tells me its a harder job then I first thought.
My question is do you think I could get this done right in under 8 hours. I have changed the engine in a LeSabre and did the headgasket and a ATX to MTX swap on my Neon. I have no experience with anything honda or anything foreign. I would really like to save her some money but don't want to leave her stranded because I rushed.

I guess he's talking about the O-rings (#19) that fit around the sparkplug holes. You have to take off the camshaft bearing caps & all the rockers.
If you've done headgaskets & transmission changes, this should be possible. But get yourself a repair book. (Maybe public library?) You'll want all the bolting sequences & torques.
I don't know about time... How long did it take you to change the Neon headgasket?
BTW, if it's just oil leaking around the sparkplugs, there's ALSO a rubber ring around each hole in the valve cover. You can probably get them separately or as part of the valve cover gasket 'set'. That's WAY easier, & maybe it's the real problem here?
