Default '04 S2000 Parts for sale.

I recently totaled my '04 Berlina Black S2000. Salvaged parts are up for sale per request. Just PM me and tell me what you want. Pick up in OC/SoCal is preferred. The black interior is not for sale since it will be going into my GP White one, which means the tan interior will be coming out and be up for sale as soon as I can get it out of the car. I don't know how to post pic's but will readily show you pics on AIM/MSN/Email.

Parts already spoken for:
Starter button/harness
Headlights
HID Ballast/Controller Unit
Rear Wheels/Tires

Damaged parts that I can't sell:
Soft top
Front bumper
Radiator/Oil cooler
Front Rims/Shocks/Springs
Driver side body panels

Parts that are already off the car:
Taillights
Stock rear shocks/springs
Rear bumper
Rear glass w/ defroster
Stock exhaust (The slip-on tips were scratched during towing)

AFAIK, the engine/drivetrain is untouched. If anyone is interested in an F22/tranny/axles/rear end, please let me know so I can have my mech take it off. These items are for pick up only, as you can inspect the parts before you pay for them. Again, PM me if you want things that I have not yet listed. I will tell you if the part is damaged.

6. There is no such thing as "pick-up only" on Honda-Tech. If you can post an ad, you can pack it and ship it. This policy is in place so that EVERYONE can take advantage of people selling things, no matter what area you live in. International shipping is up to the discretion of the seller. If you don't like this policy, don't post here. It's free to do so, so please abide by these rules.

I willing to hook you guys up but please don't lowball me. I have to make up the difference between what the insurance gave me and the price of a brand new one. Please support my love for this car. Thank you.

I'm willing to ship, its just easier for both sides if you come down and pick it up. That way you can look at the part before any money is exchanged. I don't know about you but I'm just tryin to sell parts without people calling me a scammer.

i'm sure my good friend here is willing to ship as long as the buyer is willing to leave a significant non-refundable down payment in order to show his/her seriousness.

Plus I didn't say "Pick up ONLY". It says above that pick up is preferred. As for the motor/drivetrain, wouldn't you like to look at it before you buy it?

since when does my friend have to do something as time consuming as packaging a tranny/motor assembly, for example, properly to have the buyer back out at the last minute?

Last time I checked, if the seller is offering for you to check out something as significant as a S2000 engine and tranny swap in person then I would ... but if you want to buy it on blind faith or from a few pics that are sent to you then that is also your choice. By the way, local pick up is only looking out for the potential buyer's best interest. But if you are dead serious, a non-refundable down payment for the engine/tranny set up isn't someting unreasonable to ask for. No one says you can't do that.

first off i dont care about all that. but for the mission it would be for me to go to california just to look at a motor, im happy with a bunch of pictures and a tracking number. local pick up is only is only in the buyers best interest if he is anywhere near CA but since this forum has one or two more people that arent in ca, thats where the pictures and shipping comes in to play.

waiting for reply on wheel from mywaysideisways

That's fine ... maybe you're right, some pics and a few words are fine for most people for smaller ticket items. How much does a '04 S2000 motor and tranny run for? I'm pretty sure it's a serious chunk of change so maybe there are a few others that aren't satisfied with just some pics and a few words. Maybe those 1 or 2 people that don't live in CA will come to CA to look at what they're investing in. It's not like a plane ticket is that expensive or CA has nothing for them to do in the mean time or once they've already checked out the goods.

So what happens if the motor is sent out and the buyer isn't happy with what he/ shee sees? Some people are more **** than others ... then what? Spending that much money, I'm sure you don't want to hear in the end " Sorry, sold as-is ... later! " Once again, the emphasis on the locals to CA would be better or if you have a friend in CA, ask him/her to come check it out because in the end it's your money being spent, not Sideways.

1. if motor is sold as is. that the buyers fault for not seeing that.
2. go find out what round trip prices are for from miami to ca
3. if the seller is so incompitent that he cant take good pictures it doesnt deserve me making the trip or my money
4. i'm not interested in the motor!!!.

1. most items sold here from private parties are sold under the implied as-is policy or no warranties are granted to buyers yet i see threads stating such and such is a scammer because they sold something the buyer didn't liked when he/she received it. these said buyers demand refunds or some kind of incentive but do you think the sellers are really going to give them a refund in hopes of getting back what they sent? once there is the exchange of cash or whatever payment the transaction is pretty much done. it's pretty much a he said/ she said exchange with friends from both sides attacking each other.

2. i dont have to find diddly squat for round trip prices because you're giving me the vibe that there aren't any low fair round trips via expedia, jet blue, etc. @ this time of the year?

3. the seller doesn't have to bend over backwards taking magazine/ photoshoot quality pics if you're just window shopping. if you don't the pics, sorry ... not everyone is blessed with the ability to buy a high end camera and use programs to enhance/alter a pic so that it just looks better.

4. locals encouraged for the motor/tranny was an example as i stated above. unless you have a s2k then misc. body parts are the only interest to you, these misc. body parts become smaller and smaller as the day goes by, unless you wanted to do a F series swap into your vehicle that wasn't a s2k to begin with.
