Recently I have had a problem with my car sputtering and losing power, but no check engine light so there was no way to find out what is causing it. I have a 93 accord lx with a JDM h22 engine. I disconnected the TPS and it fixed the problem. I'm wondering if that means that it is the TPS and the computer is just substituting in a value for it, or if the computer subsitutes values for all of the sensors and bypasses the emission system altogether. I'd rather not buy a TPS and find out later that it was something else. Thanks for any information any of you may have!
