Default wich short shifter will sit the lowest??

Hey guys, im going to buy one of these b&m short shifters, my brother bought the dual bend one, and it sits way low. You cant see the shifter at all, you just see the ****, do you think the straight one would sit even lower??

well if you dont like it tall then do what my freind did.. take the one off of ebay and cut the it from the top and weld a bolt on and it make it as short as you want it
