Default D16 (EX/SI) Tranny - Will it bolt up to my D15 DX?

I have "internal linkage issues" with my transmission, and its not in great condition anyways, so I was wondering if I could put an EX/SI tranny from a D16 in my Civic with out swapping the motor? D15 with D16 tranny, please LMK asap!

yes, but make sure you replace your tranny with the same type because there are hydro tranny 92-00 and cable 88-91

I'll be nice.....D-series parts like 90% are interchangable....and with the tranny, yes it will work.

But next time 5-10 mins with the search will be more helpful than posting a simple question like that, just FYI

Its really easy to do the swap.....just remember to bleed the clutch when done...and make sure the clutch has meat left on it if you're not replacing it right then and there.....goodluck and you'll like the tranny swap
