I recently took all the paneling out of the hatch in my CRX. There is black stuff stuck to the metel. If anyone has took out their paneling they know what I am talking about. Does anyone know of any good ways to get that off with out scratching the paint.

 

well a heat gun would do it most likely

 

it sound deadening tar. the best way to get it off is get a propane torch, heat it up real good and scrape it off. you probably will scratch up the pain though.
