Default quick ecu code flash question

i have the zc pm7 ecu and it flashes 1 fast flash and then pause, then 17 fast flashes.

that can't be 17 right? cause 17 would be a long flash and 7 short ones.

Correct. It should be one long flash and then 7 short ones for code 17.

Ask yourself this then, what else could it be? Code 17 is no big deal, I've been driving around with code 17 for some time now . And if you have a code 1, thats oxygen. Unless if you are talking about the one fast flash when you turn the key to the on position.

I know on a PM6 ecu it flashes 17 single, short flashes for code 17 (no long flashes), if that helps at all.

does it flash once, then 17, then once then 17 then once? or just once then repeat the 17? Your car is OBD0 therefore it will count out all 17 flashes.

Just plug your Speedo cable back in, it will get rid of this code. It either came out at the tranny side or out of the gauge cluster.
