Source of rear trailing arm bushing for 1991 Honda Civic DX
Can anyone suggest a source for an OEM quality rear trailing arm bushing for a 1991 Honda Civic DX. I believe the number is L2006-143596. So many of these bushings failed that Honda put out a technical advice memorandum on the bushings. I am looking for a stock bushing not a performance bushing which may be stiffer.
The dealer price is very high but I can not find a source for the OEM bushings although I am confident that Honda bought them from an outside supplier.

I'm not sure about the 92-95 civics, but I know the 96-00 OEM bushings have been redesigned to be nearly identical to the Mugen aftermarket ones.

Honda didn't originally make a replacement for the trailing arm bushing. Then once the EF chassis started getting old, they realized there was a flaw in the design. The redesigned the bushing & started selling a replacement part. Now they appear identical to the Moogen part for about 2/3 the cost. You must have the part numbers to get those bushings though, since you cannot just look them up for the vehicle. There are two separate bushings in two different sizes. The smaller one is for all 88-00 civics/crx/del sol & 94+ integras. The larger one is for the 90-93 integras. Here is a good article....
