Rims
unfortunately, by selecting 18" wheels, your tire selection will be limited to extremely low profile tires so that your wheels do not rub your fenders....these low profile tires will make you feel the road imperfections more than your oem wheel/tire setup...a larger tire would not be as bad... so if i were you, i'd just get a 17" wheel with a 215/45 size tire so that you still have some decently sized tires...

he needs 18 for it to look decent on the car tho...the 7th gen accord has a weird body that makes the rims look smaller. i have 18s wtih 235/40/18 and they dont even look like 18s, ppl mistake them for 16s or 17s. btw the car is an 04 av6
alot of 7th gen accord owners pick at least 18s and my friend has 20s on his with a 4 inch drop....simply sick and the cool part is that they only weight 17lb each...oem rims on the 7th gen is about 25 lb each btw for reference.
if u have the v6 model, u need to look for bolt pattern 5 x 114.3, if u want 18s, id go with 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 8 with 45 mm offset for the tucked in look, if u want the flush look, ,id go with 18 x 7 or 18 x 7.5 with 42mm offset. this is just my imo. btw u should visit 6performance.net, a lot of 7th gen owners out there that can help u out with decisions and q's

sorry bro, that was my mistake...its http://www.v6performance.net, just go there and go to honda/acura, then 7th gen accord. i started going to that site a lot more when i bought the 04 av6. i came to this site like 2 yrs back when i still had hte 93 accord
heres a pic of the accord on 20s with the 4 inch drop.
also if ur gettin rims, i suggest u drop the car because the gap is soo ugly. looks like a dunebuggy or a 4 x 4

That's a nice Accord. What kind of bolt-ons does he have? I'm assuming I/H/E? Did he dyno the car before he put the parts on? Is it a 6-speed?

yes 6 speed accord. he has custom true dual exhaust, meaning he has two pipes for each exhaust running across the bottom of the car and he has hte injen cold air intake. the v6 model doesnt have headers so we dont have that option. the third mod is hte apexi vafc2 aka vtec controller. the car was dyno'd after everything was put it. another person with a 6 speed accord dyno'd his car bone stock and it was around 190whp. the big diff btween 6 speed and auto 7th gen v6 is the torque. i have another friend that has an auto and has the same mod as the guy who owns the silver accord in the picture. almost same hp but he got a lot less torque, 180-ish wtorque compare to the 6speed that had around 50 more to the wheel

that car looks AMAZING.....
i hate to say it, but 18's are probably the right size in terms of look....
id recomend the 5 spoke Volks (GT somethings??? i think their called)....the ones that are 2 peices, but the bolts are only where the spokes meet the lip, not all the way around

Yeah, i wish i read this thread 8 months ago when i got my 04 coupe. i always thought 18" and bigger gave up too much for a car's comfort, but the 7th gens definitely need it for cosmetic appeal. i put on 17" oz superleggeras and they just looked so small even when seen close up. And there was a huge gap (suspension was completely stock at that time). i now have on 18" racing hart CR 1pc with an eibach prokit and they still look small from a distance, but looks hell of alot nicer.

car looks tyte, im usually not a big dub fan...but damn, looks nice...even tho if i was the owner i wud have settled with 18 or 19s, i like a lil meat on my rims, and the 20s give it a im all show apeal, tho u said they were considerably lyter then stock, which is a big plus for 20s...
