I have an XL125 that only has 5k miles on it and has been in my family since new. i recently got a 2001 SV650S and need to sell the XL. Could someone please give me an estimate of what its worth? the only thing wrong with it is a small tear in the seat and hole in the muffler (which im currently patching). Any good OEM sites because im getting more into fixing older bikes.

thats a tough one. i am assuming its been sitting for a long time, and i know you described the cosmetic condition, but what about the internals? sounds like it might be a restore job. that doesnt mean its not worth anything though. i'd search all over on cycletrader for similar bikes or google too, see what they go for.

 

not only does it look nice for its year, but it fires right up on the first or second kick. mechanically the bike is perfect except for the muffler im patching.
