does anybody know what compression ratio would a stock block and non decked head of a gsr would yield with the b16b pistons? supposedly from a few sources it would be near 11.8:1. is that correct?
eeuuhhhhhhhh
look in the all motor thread, mmmmz your in it. owke, look at the top, there's sticky, what's called???
ahhhh look, the answer to your question and more, c/r's of all combo's with pct's.
search then ask

They are both wrong. Please check the link above. You're looking at 12.9 with a GSR head and 12.5:1 with a PR3 head. Way too high imo for pump gas. Not to mention that CTR pistons aren't the greatest to begin with. Domes are VERY high on them.

i'd consider p30 or p73 pistons as an alternative. i use http://www.zealautowerks.com for a c/r calculator. more accurate than the c-speed one.

LOL. Thats my old companies website. My partner did the compression calculator because we got sick of the false figures C speed and Bo Jangs were giving. Still needs some finishing touches though, its not 100% on yet.
