$50 for a CRX
I was visiting my old work today and my old boss comes up to me and asks me if I want to buy his CRX. I said no, but then he said I could have it for $50! I asked what's wrong with it, biggest problem is the rear subframe is cracked where the LCA attaches. There is no big fat rear swaybar on it which normally causes this crack, so I'm wondering if it would be safe if I just welded it up.
haha i dunno about all that...but you could still buy it and resell it and make some bank fool!!!!! even selling it to a junk yard you come out way on top of the deal....i say buy it
no, junkyards only give average about $75 for scrap cars. I already bought it BTW, I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with it. I could use it as a winter beater this coming winter. It's a 1990 Honda CRX Si with 224,000kms on it.
find a good shop to redo that subframe,...then have a new project i guess.....or go winter beater, but isnt it always winter in canada??
just playin yo...well thats most likely the best deal ever hahha yea get that subframe fixed though....oh and get some pics up!!!!

It is an Si, I'm not sure if it has a swaybar or not... I'll have to check again. What I meant when I said that is it doesn't have a thick aftermarket sway on there without reinforcement. Whether it has a 14mm stock sway, I'll have to look again. I might fix it and sell it... I know I could make some money even if it's not certified.
