Default after skunk2 mani install...car idle flys from 1500-2000 consistantly

after the skunk install the car idles really bad likes its going to die...but at around 1500-2000rpms...like its choking or something...really shaky...what can the prob be? ive searched but didnt find anything exactly that would solve it...tried all the stuff i found but didnt work...is it plugs or vacuum leak?

If the idle is bouncing up and down consistantly, then its definately a vacuum leak.

Correct, if your using a Hondata IM gasket, my old LS/VTEC DA did this with AEBS Manifold. You need to just tighten up the manifold bolts and torque to spec.

okay...i think its leaking from the im gasket...i sprayed break cleaner on it and the outside seems like it sucks it up and idle changes like its burning the brake fluid...what i think mite be the problem is that there was still some old gasket on there...i didnt take every bit of it off b4 i put the new one on...i polished most of it off though there is only little around the studs where i couldnt get....could that be the prob....is it a good idea to use a liquid seal with the gasket after i take it all back apart?

take the gasket off and clean both surfaces good n use a new gasket
