Default Rocket Motorsport M24 Idle Sound Clip

Since I get about 3 IM's a day of people asking me to send them a clip, I figured I'd just post it here.

These are in a 12.5:1 85mm LS VTEC.

Exhaust is headertech manifold (3" collector) to a 3" Pipe w/ resonator. No muffler, the clip doesn't even begin to show how mean these sound.

1200 - 1300 rpm Idle.
I dont think 400 rpm idle is possible with these cams.

12.5:1
Wiseco Pistons (ib spec s.d.)
Eagle .137 long rods
GE Sleeves
M24 w/ RM Valvetrain
stock gsr head
skunk mani
rpm 70mm tb
headertech header
3" Race pipe exhaust

I think these cams might be too big for my motor, im actually getting some BC4's because dyno #'s where low. I'm not sure how those idle? I think they are smooth running cams though like JunIII which kinda sucks cus I love the lope on these things..

I figured, I just could have swore you said 400 idle at the beginning of the vid. I guess I misunderstood. Regardless, it sounds like a monster

203/150 Tuned by Mase on a DynoJet.
We didn't play with Cam timing, perhaps I need to dial out some overlap because of my relatively low compression. I'm going to take BC4's with me to the dyno, try some cam tuning on the M24's, and then switch out the BC4's, and see how they do.

If I can get my hands on a digital video camera, ill do that. It's insanely loud when VTEC hits, but its not that fast unfortunately.. Lemme call around today and see if I can make a video.
