i have a 1988 honda accord 2.0 carb. i took the head off , how do i know when the number 1 piston is TDC,(? piston at the top) also i put a new cam on and trying to line it up right.

 

there is a arrow by your pully, line that up with your red line on your pully. the cam gear should have a up arrow on it. that should point up, also the side of the cam gear has little cuts in it, you line that up with the cover behind it.

 

the piston will be at the top?

 

if you did what i say it will be.
