Default adjusting spark plugs

i put in a set of new plugs about 3-9K miles back, and i didnt adjust em when i put em in cuz i didnt have a spark plug quage, so far its been running fine, no apparent problems at all, but im sure im losing sum power and/or gas mileage cuz of it, so im bout to go buy a guage and check and adjust it, wut kinda toll should i use to adjust the plugs, wuts its called, wud pliers work?

yeah, i wouldn't use pliers... just go get a gapping tool from autozone for $0.75. very inexpensive, just look in your book for the correct gap and guage accordingly...
