yeah, hit a curb
Ok, I pulled an idiot move and to make a long scary story short, I fishtailed into a curb and hit my left rear wheel.......now I can almost swear I've got some negative camber on that wheel (diagnosis arrived at by standing behind car and making thoughtful faces and gestures). The car's performance hasn't changed noticably, but it handled kinda slushy already due to 107k miles on the suspension. Today I the rear wheels off to look around and try to figure out what I bent/broke, and nothing really looked that bad, although I'm somewhat of a noob to suspension matters. The only things I saw were that 1.the big bushing in the middle of the trailing arm was cracked to ****(on each side of the car), 2.the layer of filth that coats everything had been knocked off part of the left compensator arm and the sub frame connected to it, and although i'm not sure on this last part, 3.it looked like the adjustment bolt connecting the compensator arm to the frame might have been knocked inward 3/16 of an inch or so, judging by what looked like old dirt marks(thought that adjusted toe though). I'm somewhat reluctant to go in for an alignment right now because I'm waiting on backordered
ground controls to put on the agx's in my room
and was hoping to wait until then, although I'd like to get this problem figured out before I swap that stuff if possible. If anyone has suggestions on other areas to take apart and inspect or an idea of what I might have messed up, I would greatly appreciate it.....God help me if I did frame damage, although i don't think i smacked it that hard....thanks

Anybody? (I'm kinda stumped for now) oh yeah when cruisin slowly, I just barely hear a sound like I put the wheel on crooked or something, although that's not it unless I actually bent the wheel. Is it very easy to actually bend some part of the hub? Bump for any ideas before I break down and take it in for an alignment....and it's a 96 ls if that helps
Well I took it to midas earlier, and the nice people there looked at it for free.
It turns out I did tear up the wheel bearing somewhat and bent the wheel as well...damn...I hope a new steelie will fix most of the problem; I couldn't get it on the alignment rack because of my whirly wheel, but the guy that looked at it didn't see anything wrong with the suspension either. Has anyone else bent a wheel without damaging other components in the process? I'm still a little scared of frame damage, although the positive (not negative as my dumbass originally posted) camber I was worried about is less noticeable now as is the bearing noise....score for midas and air tools haha
