pro's: improved throttle response; more power throughout the entire rpm range

con's: cost; accoutrements needed to run them effectively; lots of tuning needed.

When considering ITB's, consider the exact design you're looking at. Toda places the injectors behind the throttle plates, which is excellent for a road racing application that doesn't idle much as a bunch of fuel ends up getting sprayed all over the firewall. This design improves fuel atomization and has been proven to make excellent power.

Other ITB manufacturers place the injectors in front of the throttle plates which, though still excellent in road racing applications, is much more universal and won't dirty up your engine bay if the setup is going in a daily driver. There's a bit less fuel atomization, but usually not enough to have any drastic effect in performance. Jenvey ITB's rely on increased air velocity to help atomize the fuel.

Tuning is the key. You should also look at some TWM's. I heard this last weekend that the Toda ITB's were discontinued and there were only two sets left. I am also looking in to go ITB's.

Alot of cars use TWM's, and there are several people that have made their own setup from a motorcycle throttle body. You need to do alot of research on this topic.
