Electornic VSS
ok, i have searched threw pages and pages of mis info, i have see the diagram. So please don't flame. I have looked and tried many diffrent ways.
From your electronic vss the signal wire goes to plug b16 then from there it goes to the cluster..... this it what i have gatherd from search
now my question is on a 90 crx si the cluster, even though stock its cable, your car still knows when you don't have a speedo so givin it has a wire to it from the ecu... so what color is this wire? and where does it go on a stock gauge cluster?
i have the eg cluster in my crx and everything works but the speedo i am tierd of no vtec!!! please someone help un confuse me just lay it out straight whats the path of the signal wire??? thanks

so where should i splice the signal wire from the vss into the yel/red wire? At the back of the cluster or at the ecu? also isn't this a wire that tells the ecu the speedo is working. so when you plug in the vss wire on the back of the cluster (say gsr cluster for refrence) is there and input and a output vss signal wire or do i just tap my signal from vss into the red/yellow wire anywhere.... im hella lost on this guys its the last hurdle to this stupid cluster project
Wire up the gsr cluster once that is done then run the 3 wires from the evss through the fire wall to the back of the cluster. Wire up the ground, 12+, and for the signal, wire it up to the cluster and to the yel/red wire... The yel/red wire already runs back to the ecu.

why make it complicated. just splice the yel/red into the signal wire and have it take the signal from the vss to the cluster. then the other half of the signal wire off the vss straight to the ecu. that way you arent running wires all the way up to the cluster and everything stays cleaner looking.
